When inspection specifications demand the highest possible sensitivity, ZChek-FP22 is the answer. This Sensitivity Level 4 post-emulsifiable fluorescent penetrant is designed specifically for safety-critical aerospace components – titanium turbine components, aircraft landing gear, wing parts, fuselages, and wheels – where detecting the finest possible discontinuity is essential. Formulated with very high thermal resistance and UV stability, it maintains consistent brightness throughout long inspection shifts and under demanding operating conditions. It resists over-washing and supports three removal processes: Methods B, C, and D. Low sulphur and halogen compliant.

Key features

  • Sensitivity Level 4 – for safety-critical aerospace and defence applications
  • Super bright Green-Yellow fluorescence with very high UV stability
  • Very high thermal resistance – consistent brightness in demanding environments
  • Resists over-washing for maximum sensitivity and indication retention
  • Compatible with Methods B, C, and D removal processes
  • Non-halogenated – safe on titanium and all metals
  • Low odour – user friendly
  • High flash point above 100°C – safe for use in all areas
  • Dwell time: 10-20 minutes (extendable to 30+ minutes for critical components)
  • Available from 520 ml aerosol to 205-litre drum
  • Shelf life: 3 years aerosol | 5 years bulk, unopened

Typical applications

  • Titanium turbine blades and aircraft engine components
  • Aircraft landing gear, wing parts, fuselages, and wheels
  • High-stress aerospace components requiring Level 4 sensitivity
  • Safety-critical castings, forgings, and extrusions in aerospace and defence
  • Oil and gas and engineering applications requiring ultra-high sensitivity
  • Multi-method process lines running Methods B, C, and D
