ZChek-F18W – Water-Based Fluorescent MPI Powder

ZChek-F18W is the water-based equivalent of ZChek-F18, designed for operations running water-medium MPI baths. It uses the same encapsulation technology and particle specification – 6-micron mean size, Yellow-Green fluorescence, and Ketos Ring sensitivity of 8-9 – with special additives that provide excellent particle mobility in water and prevent flash rusting of ferromagnetic parts during inspection. Used at 10-11 g/L, it detects medium to very fine surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities including inclusions, seams, shrink cracks, tears, laps, flakes, welding defects, grinding cracks, quenching cracks, and fatigue cracks across aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil and gas, and steel making applications.
