ZChek-DD9 – Dry Powder Developer

The developer stage of a fluorescent penetrant inspection is where trapped penetrant is drawn out of discontinuities and made visible under UV – and the quality of the developer directly affects detection sensitivity. ZChek-DD9 is a high sensitivity, free-flowing, white dry powder developer that forms an ultra-fine film over the inspection surface, drawing penetrant out of very fine cracks and creating bright, high-contrast indications. QPL-listed to SAE AMS 2644, it is formulated with low sulphur (<1000 ppm), low chlorine (<1000 ppm), and low sodium (<500 ppm), making it suitable for a wide range of metals including titanium and aluminium alloys.
