As a key member of our sales team, you will provide the technical expertise necessary to fully understand our customers’ needs and develop appropriate solutions. You will be responsible for presenting and demonstrating product/s as well as nurturing the ongoing relationship of our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Sales Managers in developing new business and closing opportunities.

• Support the team during customer meetings to understand their needs and negotiate product specifications.

• Assist the team with in-field activities such as product demonstrations, attending tradeshows and other company events.

• Support the team to create coherent commercial offers.

• Interact regularly with key personnel to discuss opportunities.

Key Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our sales expansion. Your passion for forging connections, coupled with your exceptional communication skills, will drive your success in identifying and nurturing client relationships. You’ll collaborate with a high-energy team and be the focal point of leading Nexxis as account manager across multiple accounts.

Key Responsibilities and Duties (Regular Activities):  

Achieve agreed quarterly and yearly sales targets:

  • Work as an integral part of the Nexxis team to achieve set company and individual KPI’s and targets.
  • Prospect for new customers in addition to growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio and qualifying new leads to maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales.
  • Provide technical leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers as needed.
  • Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, and demonstrate equipment and solutions.
  • Lead technical enquires from customers regarding customisable solutions.
  • Identify, map and qualify key accounts as assigned and as discovered.
  • Work with the service team to design and retrofit new solutions for customers Be able to trouble shoot equipment at a software and hardware level.

Undertake proactive business and product development:

  • Collaborate in the development of key strategies to promote, improve, innovate, and grow the business.
  • Collaborate in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive product rental and sales.
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitors’ actions and customer’s activity, updating the CRM system.
  • Liaise with equipment vendors to ensure technology is kept up to date in a timely manner.

Ensure reporting is accurate and timely:

  • Provide weekly reports which summaries the week in review, and outline objectives for upcoming week by using and keeping the Customer Relationship Management system updated.
  • Collaborate in the development of business and marketing plans, forecast, and budgets.

Systems and processes:

  • Collaborate in reviewing/improving company procedures and systems.
  • Assist with systems to ensure business compliance with regulatory and legal authorities.

Ensure customer service standards are maintained:

  • Provide professional advice to clients on products.
  • Achieve consistent delivery of agreed customer service standards.
  • Measure and maximise customer satisfaction and taking corrective action where necessary.
