See The Impossible
One of the constant challenges with RVI is capturing photo and video imagery in dark, hard to access environments at a high quality. The limitations of what a camera can capture comes down to lens quality, ISO range and sensor size. Canon have developed a new camera, the ME20F-SH that they claim is able to shoot useable images in virtually pitch darkness. With an ISO of 4,000,000 – this camera is certainly proving itself in the hands of Aurora Skycam. It would be nice to see this level of light sensitivity implemented in future RVI products that more often than not find themselves in dark conditions.
