ZChek-WP – White Contrast Paint for Magnetic Particle Inspection

Black magnetic particle powders are designed for use on light-coloured surfaces, but ferromagnetic materials are often dark – mill scale, natural metal, or oxidised surfaces reduce the visibility of black particle indications. ZChek-WP is a high-performance solvent-based white contrast paint that addresses this directly. Spray a thin, uniform coat onto the clean surface before magnetisation and allow it to dry completely, then apply the MPI particles as normal. The brilliant white background improves the probability of detection and makes even subtle indications easy to identify under white light. The thin film is easy to remove after inspection.
