ZChek-FP1 – Fluorescent Penetrant Level 1

Sensitivity Level 1 fluorescent penetrant is the appropriate choice for rough surfaces like as-cast and as-forged components, where higher sensitivity penetrants can produce excessive background fluorescence that complicates interpretation. ZChek-FP1 exhibits bright Green-Yellow indications under UV and is water washable – sustaining the water rinse step cleanly to leave minimal fluorescent background. Non-halogenated with a flash point above 100°C and less than 1000 ppm sulphur and chloride, it is safe for use on a broad range of metals including aluminium, steel, nickel, and titanium.
