Subsea thickness measurement pushes equipment to its limits. Cygnus ROV UTM is purpose-built for remotely operated vehicles working in the harshest underwater environments, with an IP68 depth rating to 3,000 m.

Designed for offshore Class surveys and subsea inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM), Cygnus ROV UTM delivers accurate metal thickness measurements without removing coatings. Using Multiple-Echo, Echo-Echo and Single-Echo modes, operators can confidently measure coated, uncoated or heavily corroded assets depending on condition.

Live A-scan feedback provides visual verification of every reading, while automatic or manual gain control ensures optimal signal performance. Measurements are viewed, logged and processed topside using CygLink software, making calibration, reporting and traceability straightforward.

Paired with a high-performance SD2C piezo-composite probe and the P50 self-aligning probe handler, Cygnus ROV UTM delivers dependable ultrasonic data where traditional subsea methods fall short.
