Customer Testimonial: Riezler system assisting RJ Plumbing and Drainage Ltd grow
Delivering the right technology to SME’s that help their business grow is a driving factor at Nexxis. Pipe CCTV inspections can be a tricky job, so relying on other contractors or faulty equipment can affect any opportunities for future work.
Director Ryan Whittaker of RJ Plumbing and Drainage Ltd was looking for a solution to help assist with the growth of his relining business in New Zealand and approached one of our Solutions Specialists about a crawler system that was reliable and convenient to operate for a first-time user.
Whittaker was introduced to the RIEZLER range and hasn’t looked back after his ability to grow his business by using the right equipment has been a perfect mix.

“There’s less down-time and relying on external parties to come and do the job and because we have it on-site, it’s easily accessible when we need it,” Whittaker said.
The design benefits of the RIEZLER crawler FWL-100 that Whittaker uses gives him an uncomplicated high quality and easy to use pipe crawling inspection system with the ability to simply screw a pan & tilt push rod camera head directly onto the four-wheel crawler.
Being a first-time user, the New Zealand plumber/drain layer was cautious about introducing new technology into his fleet but says Nexxis were great with their guided approach and support.
“This is the first camera system that I’ve used, and I found it easy to operate with great results,” Whittaker said.
“The in-built job reports give a professional view for my clients.
“I needed a pan and tilt and for the money, the Riezler System was the best on the market.
“Nexxis was a great help in providing me with the perfect tool for what I required.”
Manufactured in Germany, the Riezler crawler systems are designed to the highest standards with two brushless motors, waterproof chassis to one bar, integrated inclination sensors (long-/lateral axis), with both integrated and accessory camera elevator.
The brass/stainless-steel body of the FWL-100 and the aluminium/stainless-steel body of the FWL-100 are both designed to withstand the toughest working environments and can both withstand operating temperatures of 0° to 40° C. Other sensors that are built into both models include pressure indications and reversing speed controllers.
Nexxis has a diverse range of clients from small businesses to large international organisations and no matter the scope can deliver the right solution with your outcomes in mind.
